Deanna Clarke BHSc, CCYC, CCAC, RTC
Population Deanna Serves: Individual children, youth, adults, couples and families.
Growing up in a family system shaped by grief, emotional silence, and instability, I learned early to see myself as a burden rather than someone worthy of care and connection. Family messages that discouraged emotional expression taught me to suppress my needs, leading to deep beliefs that I didn’t matter and was unlovable. Experiences of abandonment, loss, and witnessing the pain of others reinforced the idea that asking for help would only make me “too much.” To survive, I became highly adaptable and people-pleasing, sacrificing authenticity in exchange for acceptance and safety in relationships. Over time, coping through emotional withdrawal, unhealthy relationships, and numbing behaviors created a cycle of shame, insecurity, and disconnection from myself and others. My healing journey unlocked the fears that were hidden in my unconscious mind and revealed what I needed to heal. I learned how living from a place of fear and self-protection kept me from fully experiencing love, trust, and connection—especially with the people I cared about most.
I am a heart centered therapist and my passion for supporting youth and adults comes from my own journey of healing through grief, abandonment, shame, and disconnection. Having had experienced what it feels like to silence my needs, lose myself in strategies of sacrifice and roles, and struggle with feelings of unworthiness, I understand how painful it can be to feel unseen, unloved, or stuck in survival mode. Through learning to embrace vulnerability, self-acceptance, and authentic connection, I discovered that healing becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be truly seen and heard. This journey has inspired me to create compassionate, supportive spaces where others can explore their pain without judgment, reconnect with their voice, and rediscover their worth. I am passionate about helping people move beyond fear, shame, and self-sacrifice so they can build healthier relationships, trust themselves, and experience greater freedom, confidence, and connection in their lives.
By leaning into discomfort instead of avoiding it, you will find growth, healing, and a deeper connection to SELF and others. I am committed to bring compassion, authenticity, and openness into my work and relationships, using my lived experience to create safe spaces for others to heal and rediscover themselves. I can work with you to navigate through emotional pain, rebuild self-worth, develop healthier relationships, practice self-acceptance, and move beyond patterns that keep you stuck so you can reconnect with your authentic self and create a more meaningful life.
Nature, creativity, spirituality and connection to the Divine continue to be anchors in my life. I draw inspiration from life’s simple wonders and bring that same curiosity and presence into my work with clients. I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your inner foundation so you can experience more authentic and fulfilling relationships in your life.

Scarlet has 9+ years of experience as a registered massage therapist and she gets tremendous joy from helping her clients feel better! Over the years she has brought lasting relief to clients experiencing a wide variety of musculoskeletal concerns, including shoulder and hip dysfunction, neck and back pain and stiffness, headaches, piriformis syndrome (sciatic nerve pain down the leg), tendinitis/tendinosis, and much more.
Scarlet’s technique is slow, rhythmic, and gradual as she thoroughly treats areas of pain and discomfort.
